Counseling for students who have experienced violence (Basta)
Violence and boundary violations are widespread in our society. Accordingly, there is a great need for professional support. The counselling service offered by the Students’ Union (AStA) of the CAU in cooperation with the Frauennotruf Kiel e.V. is open to all people who are affected by violence, regardless of gender.
Our offer is aimed at CAU students who are victims of sexualised violence, stalking or physical/psychological assaults. It does not matter how long ago the experience of violence took place or whether it is still ongoing and what form and extent the violence took. Relatives of victims can also contact us. If it is unclear whether the experience can be described as “violence”, BASTA is the right address.
In any case, BASTA counselling can help you find the right contact point if you need more specialised counselling. Everyone is welcome. The counselling is carried out by a counsellor of the Frauennotruf Kiel e.V. and is subject to confidentiality – if desired, it can also be carried out completely anonymously.
