Familie&Campus is part of the AStA and specifically deals with concerns from students with child(ren). Part of its mission is advocating on behalf of students with education-responsibility at the university. The focus is on exchange and networking with people and structures within this competence and responsibility field to create awareness for a family-oriented studying.

What does this mean and how do You get involved?

During lecture time (“Vorlesungszeit”) Familie&Campus organizes monthly family meetings with a varied program for the exchange of experiences and wishes. During the semester we also offer information meetings on your rights and on services provided at the CAU as well as First-Aid courses on baby- and child-emergency (most likely in German only). As student with child(ren) you can borrow a toy box at the university’s main gate (“Hauptpforte”). In winter, you can find a wish tree in the Mensa 1. Your child(ren) can fill out a wish-card and hang it on the tree. And who knows, maybe the wishes might just come true!
