Counseling for studying with impairment and/or chron. illness

Unser Beratungsangebot wendet sich an Studierende der CAU und der Fachhochschule Kiel, die durch Einschränkungen in Folge einer besonderen Lebenssituation, einer Beeinträchtigung oder chronischen Erkrankung in ihrem Studienalltag zusätzlich belastet sind.

We will try to support you with everything you need - be it questions about financing your studies, possible compensation for disadvantages, structuring your studies, options for support and/or guidance during your studies.

Students with disabilities and chronic illnesses are dependent on a non-discriminatory and inclusive learning environment. Of course, you can turn to us as your first point of contact if you encounter difficult situations at our university. This may concern, for example, the reallocation of rooms, break regulations, seating or the type of communication. Whether in real or virtual space: access to information and communication with lecturers, fellow students and the university administration should function as smoothly as possible.

We offer gender- and intercultural-sensitive counselling. If you have individual needs, let us know and we will find a solution! 

Our counselling sessions are confidential and can be anonymous if desired. Personal data and the content of the counselling session will not be passed on.

An impairment or illness should not be an obstacle to studying, so please take advantage of our counselling service!
