It is with deep sadness that Kiel University has learned of the death of its student, Shreyash V. Chikate. Tragically, he lost his life in an accident.
Shreyash V. Chikate arrived at Kiel University from India for the summer term 2026 to pursue a master’s degree in Quantitative Finance. During this difficult time, our thoughts are with his family and everyone who knew him.
The University Board and the Student Union AStA (Allgemeiner Studierendenausschuss) express their deepest condolences to the family of Shreyash V. Chikate on behalf of the entire university.
