Study matters
Unfortunately, the Office of Student Affairs cannot help if you have lost your apartment key, but we can help you with problems in everyday student life. If you're having problems sitting an exam, haven't got a place in a required seminar or don't know how to communicate a problem, just get in touch with us. We will be happy to advise you, mediate in conflicts in your subject and offer you all kinds of tips and tricks. Whether you just want some advice, are looking for a solution or an alternative, we are here to help. So you can turn to us with confidence if you have any problems with the organization of your studies, be it injustices, problems with exams or courses. We are also students ourselves and know many from our own experience, so don't be afraid to get in touch by email, Facebook or during our office hours. Together with our advisors, staff and lecturers, we will find a solution to most problems and questions. The important thing is that you have the courage to talk about it.
Last but not least, we in the department often deal with changes to degree programs; our aim is to make them as student-friendly as possible. We are involved in setting up or changing degree programs and when certification is due. We also deal with the existing regulations for studies and examinations and develop suggestions for improvement.
The main aim is to give students as much voice and participation as possible so that you can have a say in your studies. After all, your studies should be geared towards your needs and not bend you to meet the organizational challenges.
